I'm slowly falling apart…

All I could think when hearing this just now is “Why couldn't more companies make actually good-sounding Genesis synth songs like this and SEGA's Sonic games?”

Seriously, so many Genesis game songs use GEMS and sound so cheap and don't do the console justice, while the SNES was now consistent in sample quality compared to synth quality…
