The idea was to preserve the original composition. All processing was done to the sound only to achieve good balance and so on. The principal application used was Cakewalk Sonar. Sonar as with most DAWs is a host for plugins of all sorts so there was a great deal of other software used, but Sonar was the principal application. There is little to say regarding the tracks themselves, they are just the original tracks rendered with the best virtual instruments I could get my hands on.
