Baudlot has had a long career in music composing and singing commercial pop music in the 1970s and the 1980s and working with well known French artists (such as Richard Clayderman, Nicolas de Angelis, Michelle Torr and Joe Dassin). He even went representing Monaco at Eurovision song contest in 1979 (under a name Laurent Vaguener).

After years in game music (late 1980s, early 1990s) he has composed for TV documentaries and other TV programs. In the 1990s he formed his own company L’Ours-son Production which produces jingles for TV and radio
