Maybe our biggest deficiency at the moment is lack of NES songs (yes, there are 100 but they are mostly subtunes of few soundtracks).

I'm not NES specialist, but I know at least some good soundtracks/songs:

-Mega Man 2
-Bionic Commando
-Super Mario Bros 3
-Batman

What else?

I have some Turtles 1 and Zelda 2 recordings on my hard disk. I will upload them. But Town music of Zelda 2 is missing! I like it a lot.

I have no idea whether emulated stuff is accurate enough to use. I guess there is no big difference, but I'm not sure.

NES Emulation is quite good, especially with a tool like Audio Overload. Never owned a NES so don't know of many of the good tracks, Galway did some NES tracks (Runes of Virtue) that kicked ass. Will have to do some looking around for some sound/mp3 files later in the week.

now when you mentioned Galway, I also remember that Tim Follin has got better sound out of NES than anyone else: Silver Surfer, Solstice, Wolverine...
