And finally, whilst I found the forum again.. A suggestion to those considering the dilemma of very long tracks (say 15 mins plus?), which I tend not to mind.. but anyway... How about a vote override feature, similar to the votemap mods in many a Quake 2 game.
Essentially, someone triggers a vote override request which must get over a threshold (50% of online users or say min 5 votes). If successful, it either terminates or times out at 15mins. Logistics would depend on how "who's online" works and how people listen. voteskip command in onliner or some realtime web trickery to tax FG's skills. Alternatively, restrict max track length to 15mins when queue is greater than "X" tracks or longer than "X minutes" so tracks fade out early? |

Keep the tracks long available for individual listening but exclude from queuing.
