Hi

My name is Arthur. I'm from Poland. I am a programmer. A few months ago I started working on the re-edition of the game TFX.

My question: Is it possible to download MIDI files of original music from the game TFX?
I would like to improve the quality of their recordings.

Thanks for any help.

The ripped TFX music files can be found here: http://hoot.joshw.info/pc/tfx_at.zip
It contians the Adlib, MT-32 and Sound Canvas versions of the music.

Unfortunately, there are no MIDI files available from this game. I would have to rip them one by one from the original editor, but that would take a lot of time and may not even be worth it since they'd be difficult to use (due to the nature of using a tracker vs a sequencer).

That zip i linked to actually contains the Hoot driver for the music: http://dmpsoft.s17.xrea.com/hoot/index.html
(It play the music at game speed, wich is faster than the editor version)

Also what i think Koli ment is that there is no SMF version of the music.
