Hi,
I have been informed by our datacenter that there will be a brief power outage at 7pm today while they perform maintenance on the building's power grid. Here is the note from Joes: "I regret to inform you that we have scheduled an outage for 03-2-2011 at 7:00PM Central time. The building just informed us that there is a problem with the power coming into the building. Both electricians they hired and Kansas City power and light said it cannot wait to be fixed and requires the power to the entire building to be taken down. They said the power outage should last 30 min which is longer than the UPS can hold so we are asking all customers to shut down your equipment at 6:45 - 6:50 anything left on after this we will shut down by our staff as gracefully as possible. As soon as power has been restored we will start turning all equipment back on. We have asked all our staff members to come in and help during this time so we should be able to have everything powered back up quickly. I understand that this is short notice but under these circumstances this was the best we could do. We appreciate your business and thank you for being a Joe's Datacenter customer." Thanks for your patience |
