Back when Mary's Magical Adventure was named World of Kirbycraft, Mary's intro cutscene was planned to be very different than later plans. It was to be a video, with this music synced to the events that happen during it. What follows is the original story:

Quote: "Mary is in her house, standing in front of a picture of Hell City (Peacewater), drinking juice from a restaurant cup. After a strange close-up on this, Mary praises the city.

Meanwhile, outside her house, a giant shadowed human figure towers over the distant buildings on the horizon. He claims he's the "Origin Master" then throws a large fireball to demonstrate his power to the city. It impacts the stage next to Mary's house, leaving a crater behind.

Mary peeks outside and sees the Origin Master and the damage he caused. As this happens, the Origin Master demands that Hell City brings him the seven Chaos Bridges, or the whole city will become a crater by his strength.

This leaves Mary so scared that she runs away from home, with one plan, to get out of the city before he can return!"
