If you have linked a YouTube video to a song, but the YouTube play area only shows as black, there are a couple of things to check:

- First check that the video ID you supplied is correct. Only the 11 character video ID after the "watch?v=" portion is required.
- If the video ID is correct, it is possible that the video may be region blocked by YouTube. Click on YouTube icon overlay in the bottom right corner of the video to open the YouTube page in a new window and see if any error appears on the YouTube site.
- Finally, it is possible that the user who uploaded the video has blocked the video from being embedded in external webpages. You can check this by going to the YouTube video page, and clicking the "Embed" button below the video. If it says "Embedding disabled by request", then that video cannot be used. You could try contacting the uploader of the video to see if he will allow it to be embedded, if there are no other alternative videos available.
