Checkpoint is an Atari demo group, formed in 1996.

They co-organized Error in Line party series.

They organized the Dresden Atari Sommer (DAS) in 2005 and 2010.

The december 2014 winner of Sillyventure, Thunderdome - The Demo listed Defjam, Excellence in Art, Exocet, Five'o'Five, Joe Cool, LSL, mOdmate, Mr. Coke and SPKR as active members.

July 2016: 505, mOdmate, Excellence in Art and SPKR has left the group. All other members where kicked by Defjam and lsl. Hesed joined as a new member
