Hi,
Unfortunately, we had a big downtime this weekend. The problem was due to our datacenter having some power problems. According to the datacenter, a small utility room flooded, which in turn flooded part of their power room which caused their main power breakers to trip, and one had partially blown and needed immediate repair before power could be restored to the entire building. Joe assured us that the problem was being fixed by the local power companies, and as soon as the power was restored they had staff standing by to restore everybody's systems. Joes Datacenter is located in downtown Kansas City Missouri, and is hosted on the 26th and 27th floors of the building. It has good access to several power grids, and many different bandwidth providers making it a great choice for if one provider goes down. Host at Joes!. Many thanks to Joe for getting us back up and running in a very short period of time. Should you have any problems with the site, please let us know. Thanks! |

Information about the building itself can be found on Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oak_Tower
