No, it wasnt boring. The kids mostly used it for note taking. The ones who liked the programming wanted to make fighting games such as the ones in the arcade at the time, which was probbably double dragon and maybe even pitfighter/mortal combat, so i tough

But it also had very powerful word processors and spreadsheet tools for the kids to use in-class, and eeproms to transfer files back and forth. Was very neat stuff
