i think something nicer could replace this gray background and gray horizontal columns.

how about trying some fair blue or fair green or fair red texture which could be stolen from Paradroid 90 game? (brightness of textures should be increased with some graphic editing tool until they're bright enough to be used as background)

yeah,the site runs off off css and templates. Anyone feeling venturous can download the project files from Google Code (linked at the bottom of every page) and see how its laid out. I am not the best CSS/HTML guy though
