Yup, the course follows that book. I read the book for free from the Jupyter notebooks, you can run them for free on Paperspace so I could run the examples as well

It won't teach you too much about the rest of ML, but it's not the hardest to extrapolate the approaches to other techniques (especially simpler ones, like linear classifiers and stuff when you just need something simple)
